What is the Impact Gallery?

The Impact Gallery is a small exhibit that allows the audience to practically see how a relatively small donation can go a long way in supporting beneficiaries in high-poverty contexts. It takes everyday items and reframes their costs around potential impact.

The Four Displays

The Sneaker: A $150 pair of sneakers is equivalent to 30 mosquito nets, which can protect 60 people from malaria for a year.

The Phone: A $1000 iPhone is equivalent to 1,000 doses of Vitamin A supplements, which can prevent child blindness, illness, and death.

The Coffee Cup: A $5 latter daily for a year equals $1,825, which is equivalent to 122 vaccines for mothers to provide to their newborns

The Human Connection: A photo of our beneficiaries explaining the partnership between One for the World and GiveWell.

The Materials

Students should find and use their own items (sneaker, to-go coffee cup, phone) to use in the displays.
